Class Descriptions


Yoga is not a static experience. Classes vary in subject. content, level, mood, etc., not just by category, but from class to class.  Like each day is different, so is each class.  Read the teachers bio's to get a feel for their style, but try different classes and teachers to find your space.


Practice flexibility of the mind.


Basic/Level 1

This class offers continued focus on yoga fundamentals, including varied, basic poses, healthy alignment, yogic breathing, meditation and relaxation techniques and yogic teachings. Poses and sequences are practiced with both beginners and returning students in mind, offering all the opportunity to gain confidence, strength, flexibility. 

Level 1-2

In the context of an ongoing deepening of the yoga fundamentals and mindfulness, advanced postures are practiced for those who would like to challenge their endurance, strength, flexibility, and balance.  A foundation in yoga and an understanding of your body’s appropriate modifications are recommended. 



This specialty class concentrates on the changes happening in your body during pregnancy and helps relieve common physical and emotional symptoms, including back pain, heartburn, constipation, and swelling, as well as sleeplessness, depression, and anxiety. Additionally, breathing and relaxation techniques assist in preparing you for, and providing relief during, labor and birth. This class offers moms-to-be a mindful and nurturing environment to, prepares you for the birth experience and deepen the connection between you and baby.


Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga ~ stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the the pose stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. It also helps to regulate the body's flow of energy.
